PM expande Patrulha Maria da Penha para município de Campo Maior.
Os últimos municípios beneficiados com o serviço de combate à violência contra a mulher foram Campo Maior e Esperantina.
A Polícia Militar do Piauí realizou, nesta quarta-feira (27), a conclusão da expansão da Patrulha Maria da Penha para todos os batalhões do interior do Piauí. Os últimos municípios beneficiados com o serviço de combate à violência contra a mulher foram Campo Maior e Esperantina, sedes do 15° e 25° Batalhão, respectivamente. Na ocasião, foram entregues viaturas lilás para o policiamento especializado nessas regiões.
A Patrulha Maria da Penha foi implantada nos últimos dias em sete municípios, no processo de descentralização do serviço, realizado pela Secretaria de Segurança Pública e pelo Comando Geral da Polícia Militar, cuja meta era levar o programa para todas as regiões do estado até janeiro de 2024. No entanto, foi antecipada e concluída hoje.
“Estamos concluindo a meta de implantar em todos os batalhões do interior do Piauí, a Patrulha Maria da Penha. No ano de 2024, com a implantação de mais batalhões, teremos mais ampliação da patrulha. Quero agradecer a todos os parceiros por essa maratona de implantação da descentralização para o interior. É a Polícia Militar mais perto da população”, enfatizou o comandante-geral da PMPI, coronel Scheiwann Lopes.
Para a coronel Elza Rodrigues, comandante do Comando de Polícia Comunitária (CPCOM), trata-se de um momento histórico para a corporação.
“Hoje foi mais um dia histórico para a Polícia Militar do Piauí. Essa viatura irá fazer o trabalho especializado do policiamento ostensivo e preventivo voltado para o problema com foco na fiscalização das medidas protetivas de urgência. À mulher vítima de violência terá acolhimento, orientação e de conscientização para que o agressor se conscientize que a mulher deve ser tratada com amor, com carinho e com respeito”, destacou a coronel
Descentralização da Patrulha Maria da Penha
O programa foi lançado em janeiro de 2020 em Teresina e Parnaíba. Desde o seu lançamento, a Patrulha Maria da Penha realizou a fiscalização de mais de 900 medidas protetivas de urgências no estado.
Com o processo de descentralização, somente neste ano, a patrulha foi lançada em 14 municípios:
Piripiri (12° BPM);
Floriano (3° BPM);
Picos (4° BPM);
São Raimundo Nonato (11° BPM);
Paulistana (20° BPM);
Valença do Piauí (23° BPM);
Oeiras (14° BPM);
Corrente (7° BPM);
Canto do Buriti (28° BPM);
Bom Jesus (19° BPM);
Uruçuí (10° BPM);
Água Branca (18°);
Campo Maior (15° BPM);
Esperantina (25° BPM).
