R$ 2 bilhões celebrado entre o Governo do Piauí e o BB em 15 de abril deste ano está disponível
Piauí recebe R$ 2 bilhões de financiamento do Banco do Brasil para obras nos 224 municípios do estado
Celebrada em abril deste ano, a operação de crédito já está disponível no Tesouro Estadual a partir desta terça-feira (14).
O contrato de financiamento de R$ 2 bilhões celebrado entre o Governo do Piauí e o Banco do Brasil em 15 de abril deste ano está disponível para o Estado a partir desta terça-feira (14). Os recursos serão destinados para a realização de obras e serviços em todos os 224 municípios piauienses, com destaque para as áreas de infraestrutura de transportes (rodovias e outros modais), mobilidade urbana, urbanização, segurança, saúde, infraestrutura hídrica e transformação digital.
Os investimentos irão possibilitar, ainda, a geração de mais de 18 mil novos postos de trabalho, com impactos na economia que representam outros benefícios diretos e indiretos para os municípios e para o estado. Na celebração do acordo, o governador Rafael Fonteles, acompanhado do ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, e do vice-presidente do Banco do Brasil, José Ricardo Sasseron, destacou que os recursos possibilitarão novas obras, agilizarão a execução daquelas já em andamento e promoverão melhorias na qualidade de vida da população piauiense.
“Vamos aplicar esses recursos em obras, serviços e ações em todos os 224 municípios do Estado, gerando também emprego e renda e levando vários outros benefícios para as cidades e a população”, disse Rafael Fonteles. Na área de infraestrutura de transportes e mobilidade urbana, mais obras de pavimentação, restauração e conservação de rodovias chegarão aos 12 Territórios de Desenvolvimento (TDs), incluindo outros modais, como ferroviário e aéreo. Além disso, mais ações de mobilidade urbana e urbanização, compreendendo pavimentação asfáltica e poliédrica, construção e reforma de praças, parques, ginásios poliesportivos, estádios de futebol, melhorias na rede de água e esgoto e iluminação pública.
Em obras de infraestrutura hídrica, estão previstos investimentos para aprimorar o acesso à água potável e o gerenciamento dos recursos hídricos, incluindo a prevenção de inundações e o controle da poluição. Isso engloba a construção de barragens, estações de tratamento e sistemas de abastecimento d’água, sistemas de irrigação e canalização de rios e córregos.
Na área de saúde pública, a construção e reforma de hospitais e unidades de saúde, além da aquisição de equipamentos modernos para diagnóstico e prevenção de doenças. Para a segurança pública, unidades policiais civis e militares, de defesa social e do sistema prisional serão construídas ou reformadas. Além disso, está prevista a aquisição de equipamentos tecnológicos, bélicos, de proteção individual e de salvamento, além de ampliação da frota de veículos existente, para aprimorar o atendimento à população e combater o crime organizado.
Na área de transformação digital, os investimentos serão voltados para a implementação de sistemas integrados, infraestrutura de dados, cibersegurança e criação de plataformas digitais acessíveis.
A operação de crédito será destinada, ainda, para a expansão, melhoria e modernização dos serviços prestados à sociedade, com foco no aumento da eficiência e sustentabilidade, contemplando empresas como a Empresa de Águas e Esgotos do Piauí S.A. (Agespisa), a Agência de Atração de Investimentos Estratégicos (Investe Piauí), direcionado sobretudo à execução das obras do Porto de Luís Correia e à Empresa de Tecnologia de Informação do Piauí (Etipi).
O recurso disponível também irá apoiar o pagamento de despesas de capital previstas no orçamento em diversas áreas, como educação, cultura e esportes, meio ambiente, agricultura familiar, energia, desenvolvimento regional, pesquisa e desenvolvimento, construção civil e assistência social.
