O Novo PAC Seleções foi lançado no dia 27 de setembro de 2023,
Novo PAC Seleções terá investimentos em 16 municípios do Piauí
Os benefícios incluem abastecimento de água, regularização fundiária, urbanização e renovação de frotas de ônibus
O Novo PAC Seleções, programa do Governo Federal, vai investir em 55 equipamentos e obras em 16 municípios do Piauí, onde residem 36% da população do Estado. As ações do programa incluem urbanização de favelas, regularização fundiária, abastecimento de água e renovação de frotas de ônibus. Todas serão executadas pelo Ministério das Cidades.
O resultado de cinco modalidades do Novo PAC Seleções, dos eixos Água para Todos e Cidades Sustentáveis e Resilientes, foi anunciado nesta quinta-feira (9) pelo presidente da República, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, em Brasília. No total, foram selecionadas 6.050 obras e empreendimentos nos 26 estados e no Distrito Federal, alcançando 10% dos municípios brasileiros.
As cinco modalidades são executadas pelos Ministério das Cidades e somam R$ 18,3 bilhões em investimentos em todo o Brasil: Abastecimento de Água – Rural; Periferia Viva – Urbanização de Favelas; Prevenção a Desastres Naturais: Contenção de Encostas; Regularização Fundiária; e Renovação de Frota
O Novo PAC Seleções foi lançado no dia 27 de setembro de 2023, quando foram anunciados investimentos de R$ 65,4 bilhões para seleções de obras e empreendimentos com participação dos estados e municípios. No total, o programa compreende cinco eixos e 27 modalidades, executadas pelos Ministérios das Cidades, Saúde, Educação, Cultura, Justiça e Esporte, sob coordenação da Casa Civil da Presidência da República.
O valor total destinado ao Novo PAC Seleções é de R$ 136 bilhões e a segunda etapa do programa deve ser lançada em 2025. O recurso está contemplado no investimento total do Novo PAC que é de R$ 1,7 trilhão.
As seleções priorizaram a melhoria na qualidade de vida no campo e nas cidades, tornando-os mais aptos a superar cenários adversos da emergência climática e oferecer melhores condições de vida para a população, contribuindo para a redução das desigualdades regionais. Os empreendimentos são de urbanização de favelas e produção habitacional, regularização fundiária, saneamento, eliminação de risco, qualificação de áreas públicas, elaborados de forma integrada, considerando as realidades regionais e urbanas das cidades, além de renovação de frotas de ônibus e componentes sobre trilhos, conforme divulgado no lançamento do programa.
